Overview

Korea University, established in 1905, is one of South Korea's oldest and most prestigious institutions. It is one of the members of the SKY universities — along with Seoul National University and Yonsei University. Scholarships

In GSIS, many international students will be awarded scholarships covering 50% to 100% of tuition fees based on their academic performance. The school also offers a special international scholarship sponsored by POSCO, one of the world's leading steel companies. Admissions

Korea University's acceptance rate is approximately 41%, making it selectively accessible. Four Korea University faculty members have been selected as 2025 Highly Cited Researchers. For English-taught programs, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0–6.5 or TOEFL iBT equivalent is required. Most Korean-taught undergraduate programs require TOPIK Level 3–4.
