Primary Intake — September — The main intake for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Cost of Studying at Lingnan University, Hong Kong

For non-local (international) students, the tuition fee for UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes is HK$160,000 for the 2025–26 academic year. For local students, the tuition fee is HK$44,500 for 2025–26. For research postgraduate programmes (MPhil/PhD), the tuition fee for the 2025–26 academic year is HK$44,500 for government-funded students, payable in two instalments. Self-financed research postgraduate students pay HK$89,000 for 2025–26 and HK$94,000 for 2026–27 (full-time). 

The PG programme fees at Lingnan University range from HKD $228,000 to HKD $300,000 per year for taught master's programs, depending on the subject area. Tuen Mun is located in the New Territories — significantly more affordable for accommodation than Hong Kong Island or Kowloon — and Lingnan's comprehensive on-campus hostel system (2,600 beds across 10 blocks) means nearly all students can live on campus at very affordable rates.
